I'm the baby, you gotta love me

My lovely siblings have been taking great care of me since I haven't really been able to walk the last few days. Well, I can walk but it's super painful and if I walk a lot I start to leave a blood trail. It's just not a good idea.

For the most part the food has been edible. There was an incident with easy mac and cheese that didn't go over so well. It had sat in the microwave for too long and lost all the water. I was mostly passed out on the couch when my brother mixed it up. He asked if it needed water and I said no. I'd forgotten that water evaporates. Everything ended okay because my mother made me Gold Fish mac and cheese. It was cute and delicious.

Fishies (Photo)

Thankfully my older sister made me a salad so I have eaten something healthy in the last few days. Pretty sure it's the only healthy thing I've eaten.

I did get some interesting, but yummy french toast for  breakfast. My brother made it. I was not entirely sure it was going to end well. I kept hearing questionable noises coming from the kitchen. The most disturbing was when he asked if it was supposed to look like that. Since I was lounging (in a rather foul temper) on the couch and couldn't actually see the kitchen I had no way of answering. It's been really odd to have him cook for me since if it's just the two of us at home I do the cooking.

It looked a lot like this, but flatter (Photo)

The best thing was when I asked my brother to get me a cup of coffee. I have a French press. He took the lid off and freaked out when he saw the coffee grounds. He didn't realize the plunger thing needed to be pressed down. In his defense he avoids all coffee and necessary equipment for making coffee. I got to talk him through the actions for a French press. Mostly that you have to push the plunger down slowly. He also took the lid of the creamer instead of popping the top up. Just unscrewed the whole thing.

This is real hard to use.

But mostly I've just eaten a lot a macaroni and cheese. It's my go to comfort food when I feel bad or am stressed.

I hate subpar service

I do not want whipped cream.
I do not want a larger size.
I do not want fries.
I do not want any of that crap.
Further more if I did want it I would tell you.
But mostly I really, really, really do not want that fucking whipped cream. NO.

This is not my first time at this establishment, but if you keep asking me asinine questions it might be my last. The last few times I've gone to Starbucks they have put whipped cream on my latte. I don't dislike whipped cream but I don't like it on my lattes. I don't really like it on anything, when I do eat whipped cream it tends to be on pumpkin pies and only on pumpkin pies. Or just a bowl of whipped cream, totally healthy.

My last visit to Starbucks was a super unpleasant experience. They said the chocolate chai latte was super good. They lied. Shit was super gross. Granted I should have known better since I haven't had a good chai latte from Starbucks ever (iced or a frappuccino is okay, but still not as good as a homemade one). Adding the chocolate, which turns out is the mocha mix, was a horrible idea. They only good mocha is either peppermint or white chocolate. The straight up mocha is disgusting (at all coffee places). Thankfully the barista was more then willing to give me a different drink for free. Unfortunately she kept asking me if I really only wanted a black coffee. Dude. Asking once makes sense, but if you keep saying "Are yous sure" it's a good way to get hot coffee thrown in your face. Yes, goddamn, I am sure. If I didn't want it why would I ask. All of the lattes are terrible, the tea is gross leaving black coffee as the only palatable menu item.

Which, quite frankly, is sad. Because everyone knows Starbucks coffee is brunt to the ninth hell. And lots of people like that. I am not a big fan, but at least the burnt taste is consistent.

Back to the bad experience. All I wanted was to sit, surf the internet and enjoy a cup of coffee. They have three outlets in the entire store, at least ones customers can reach. Someone was sitting by each one. Which is kind of douche of the people, I always thought there was some unwritten rule about not sitting by outlets unless you needed them. Guess that's just me. If you are a coffee house you really should have more than three outlets. Like, really, what the hell. All in all I would rate that experience at a two on a scale of five. It could have been worse but I still ended up leaving to find someplace with outlets and internet. Both of which put me in a super pissy mood.

Starbucks you fail here.

So to all of the business' out in the world. Stop asking asinine questions and just give me exactly what I ordered. It's not that damn hard.

"sit does not mean hump my leg"

My mother's dog is insane. It jumps all over the place and is crazy hyper. At least for her. Most of the time I don't go anywhere near it. The dog believes I am his personal slobber post. It's super gross. We had to tie him up because people were coming to see the house (Oh yeah, we're in the middle of selling our house. W00t.) I felt bad for him so after the people left I went out to unhook the chain, totally expecting to be mauled. Which I was, but when I told him to sit he actually sat. This has never happened before. I mean Never. And the most amazing thing is that he stayed sitting, granted I told him to stay. But dogs are not known for their long memories.

Now that I know he'll actually sit I am more inclined to take him for walks. Well, it'd still be more like him dragging me along. But, meh. He's super cute when he behaves.

A dear friend posted this on my fb page.
Not sure where she found it, but it's awesome.
This week has been kind of weird. I got a job offer on Sunday, which means I can quit my awfully job. Part of the reason I haven't been blogging (other than pure lazyness) is because all I want to do is bitch about the worst job I have ever had. I would have preferred to work for my father than continue working where I had a job. (I am not going to say where it was because it doesn't matter).

My new job is at a coffee house bistro thing. Not really sure if it would be classified as a restaurant

Things that truly horrify me

This last weekend I got a small glimpse into the world of 1980s films. It was kind of awesome. Normally I go over to my cousins and we watch a TV show. So far we've watched Leverage and Rizzoli & Isles, both great stories with good plot lines and the unfortunate timing to not have the newest seasons out yet. Instead of starting another show that only has one season out yet we watched "16 Candles" and "Better Off Dead". Two fantastic movies that have landed in my favorite movies list.

I know this seems a rather random topic to go with the post title, but am getting to the horribleness. If you have not seen "16 Candles" I would suggest not reading this next paragraph. Ever. Actually, if you liked the movie you might not want to read it either.

The movie was cute, funny and had me totally caught up in the story. That is until I noticed something I could not unnotice. Jake Ryan, the main love interest, looks just like Edward. He has a similar hair style and the mannerisms are down right creepy, almost like what Edward would have been like if he wasn't an angsty, sparkly thing. The actor even had the same troubled/uncomfortable/constipated look... it was weird. Throughout the entire movie I was trying not to gag, I had an insane urge to stab a pencil in my eye. I really hate the Twilight saga. Like really, really dislike. If I could I would probably burn all the books. I know I should have said that Edward looked like Jake since that movie came out first (by about two decades), but since I saw Twilight first I cannot. Which majorly sucks.

Although, maybe I am the only one who sees it.
He has "Issues"

Now on to other things that really horrify me.

Comic sans. I feel like nothing more needs to be said for this. Nothing.

That moment when I take a sip of coffee and there is nothing in the mug. Then when I go to pour more in I find out there is nothing left in the carafe. It generally takes a few seconds for the horror to truly dawn on me, I drank all the damn coffee. Again. And Again I totally forgot the actual drinking part. Which sucks.

And the flip side of that problem. When I get so caught up in something I totally forget about my coffee until it colds, so I microwave it. And then forget about it again. There are only so many times you can reheat coffee without burning the crap out of it. Very few things taste nastier than burnt coffee. Or tepid coffee for that matter.

Um... I know there are other things that horrify me, but I can't think of anymore.

Showering in the space time continuum

I got up freakishly early today, for a variety of reasons. First off I had lost one of my pillows sometime in the night, this is highly disturbing because then I am not cocooned in by pockets of cottony goodness and can't sleep. Then my mother came in, don't even know how early that is, and wanted to talk about me getting a job. And finally I got out of bed, before 9 a.m. (which is just wrong) because the newest resident got hired and needed to take a drug test. Which I then didn't have to take him too, so really I should be back in bed sleeping right now. But I drank to much coffee.

Mommy always turns the dishwasher on right before she leaves for school (she's a teacher, not a student). Normally this doesn't cause any problems, but since I was up so early I wanted to take a shower. Unfortunately someone got in before me, that combined with the dishwasher means I had a cold shower. Cold showers make me extremely grumpy. I tend to take that out on other people in any way I can. Including barraging them with stupid stories from college. It was great.

A COLD shower? I kill you! (photo)

What's even better is that now I am in the house alone, well except for the dog, the cat and the lurking spider (aka my brother).

While attempting to decide what I should blog about today I ended up letting my coffee get cold. I decided to nuke it and pray the microwave didn't just burn it (it always does anyway, and I drink it anyway). I opened the microwave and there was a plate, an empty dinner plate, just sitting in the middle of the glass tray. It was the most bizarre thing ever. Which can all be explained by the fact that my mother constantly breaks the space time continuum (it's possible!), it must have gotten tired of it and started pushing all of her crap back into the real dimension. Let's just hope that doesn't happen inside somebody's head. Unless it's the lurking spider, he can get a plate in the head, it would be funny.

If they space time continuum was a person it would totally be  him. (Photo)

What's your coffee?

Even though I have lived in Casper for several years (well my parents lived here, I was in Lincoln going to school) and have visited for almost ever holiday my entire life I don't know much about the community. I don't go out and walk around down town. I don't even know what local coffee houses are here.

But that has recently changed. A few weeks ago I went with a friend to a small cafe called The Art of Coffee and it is fantastic. The chai is super yummy. As you can see.

Chai!

The Art of Coffee does more than just coffee though, they have an entire menu just for their drink options. It's crazy. They do lunches and I think they do breakfast too. I have never gone early enough to see if they do. On Tuesdays they have an open mic night. I don't know if it's worth going to, since I haven't had a chance to participate yet. But I am planning on it. They also sell hats, bags and a bunch of other stuff that is made by local artist. It's really cool.

It's soo good. Hands down the best chai ever.

There are a few more coffee houses around town that I want to check out. I will make sure to take pictures so I can share the awesomeness with you.

Friday photo dump

So it's Friday. Yay! And I really had nothing to blog about. Well... nothing I was ready to post yet. Which is why I am going to do a photo rundown of the year. Starting with my cousins birthday on January 1st.

She has this wig. I had to try it on

It kind of looks like something died on my head.

The kitchen had better lighting

I am so damn sexy, rawr!

Present from my friend!

And Hello Kitty was inside! Super awesome :D

Present from my mommy. It's a container for Bubble bath.

Found this when I finally unpacked my trunk. Isn't it adorable!

I made a hat!

Wearing my old glasses cuz my new ones broke
Coolest hat ever.

Is that a jealous face? It really should be.

I hope you all enjoyed the pictures and have a fantastic weekend.

Do you want my muffin top?

Once again I found myself in a very awkward situation while writing a letter at  Starbucks. The previous awkwardness can be found here.

It was a Sunday evening and the place was packed. I mean there were like four chairs available in the entire cafe, and three of those were at the bar. Which I feel is really weird. It makes since for a bar to have a bar, but a cafe having a bar is a little weird, at least I think it is.

Anyway. I choose to sit at the bar because it is the only place where I can sit without being slammed between two other people. A few minutes later a guy comes in and sits down, leaving one seat between us. This is normal, expected behavior for people. You don't sit next to strangers unless you absolutely have to, most of the time I choice to take my food to-go if there isn't breathing space. Some people do not understand the term "shower regularly" Or "ever" for that matter. Eww.

Um... where was I?

Oh yes. The awkward Starbucks encounter. Well the girls working, behind the bar (obviously) knew the guy and started talking with him. I, for the life of me, cannot help but join conversations so I ended up talking with them. We where discussing one of the girl's paintings, it was really good and thought it would be nice to give her some encouraging words. Artists always love getting compliments. Even if they say they hate it, secretly they love it.

Well the guy is eating a muffin. He sets it down and turns towards me. Then he says, "Do you want my muffin top, it's the best part?"

What the hell am I supposed to say to that? Seriously?

Sadly enough I ended up taking it because I was really hungry and on my way to the firing range and I didn't want to end up accidentally shooting someone because I was hungry.... worst excuse ever. That and it looked delicious. Kind of like this, but better.

The part no one talks about...

Yes. I am talking about the after college breakdowns. The moments at night when I fly out of bed sure there is some assignment due tomorrow that I haven't finished yet. The ever oppressive feeling of things not accomplished, that goes hand-in-hand with the ball of dread located somewhere close enough to my stomach to make eating difficult. The eye twitches followed by caffeine withdrawal symptoms. Most note-ably shaky hands.

The agitation that comes while I am compiling a mental list of tasks and I realize I have done everything I need to do. Not only that but I have done several things I didn't ever need to do.

I hate waiting. I just want the stupid monster to jump out of the closet so I can beat it with my war hammer and go back to sleep.

I could never be a spy. Half (or more) of that job is waiting. It would kill me within the first mission.

Anyway.

Something super funny, mildly awkward, happened to me today while at Starbucks (I, alas, was not drinking coffee... like I said earlier I am trying to stop my insane caffeine consumption). I was writing a letter to a friend, minding my own business, when this guy sits right down at the table next to me. I was sitting on a long bench with three small tables, it was divided up to be individual but close enough that a group could sit and discus stuff. I was surprised because he could have sat one more down and left empty table between us. Then, and this is the kicker, he leans over taps my shoulder (I was listening to my mp3 player) and offers me a cup of cherries.

I am not joking. I was offered a cup of cherries by a strange man at Starbucks.

I didn't even know what to say. I just politely refused and went back to writing my letter. Honestly, who even does that?

Quips from writer's group

Because we are so awesome.

Last night we went to a new coffee house and it had a great vibe. Everything was decorated in coffee colored shades, a short of earthy feel. A nice relaxing atmosphere.

Which didn't keep me from having a caffeine induced haze of hilarity. Freaking everything was funny.

I would love to point out that one of the members is pregnant with quadruplets, or spocktuplets since at least one of the babies is going to be Spock.

True story.

And if you believe that you are medicated than I was last night. Which would be pretty impressive because I forgot to order decaf and was blitzed like no one not on something prescribed should be. It felt great. Except the fact that I have been mildly sick all weekend. Or maybe felt sick all weekend. Not sure it is healthy to drink as much coffee as I did.

The last few days have been a blast though. I learned how to play Mario kart on the Wii. The remote is ridiculously touchy. Turn it a little and go flying off the fracking course. Other than dying every other turn it was super fun.

I'm not entirely sure were I was going at the beginning.

Writer's group

Writer's group

Ah, yes. I was talking about how splinderfously awesome it was last night. Quit entertaining.

Never underestimate the creative powers of over caffeinated women. Never. It will end with you being laughed at by creatures vaguely resembling hyenas. Only not as nasty smelling.

Also if you get the chance watch Eddie Izzard. He's fabulous.

On a completely unrelated note I found this and thought it was worth listening to.

Sarah Kay

Watch it. It's great.

Only the little things matter

My life has turned into a crazy mass of confusion the last few weeks as I attempted (and failed) to settle everything in for the semester. It seems like I can't keep a thought in my head for more than a few minutes.

When staying up late studying for a quiz I made oatmeal when I remembered I had forgotten to eat earlier in the day. I was so out of it that I forget to eat and found it in the microwave the next morning. It was disgusting. I forget to call people back. The insurance company is being a pain (shocking) so I still can't drive my car anywhere. I spaced writing for the school newspaper and had to turn in an article late. Pretty sure I failed that quiz. It's been a spectacular week.

None of that really bothered me.

What really made me grumpy was realizing I had downed a pot of coffee in less than hour this morning (afternoon). Now I am pissy because I want coffee but I know that more caffeine will keep me up late turning this whole week into a crap fest. I hate my life sometimes.

It's never the big things that screw up a persons day. It's the little things that push them over the edge.

I want coffee.

*pout*

Comfort food

The last few days have been stressful. Hell the last few years have been stressful. College has kicked my posterior until all that is left is a bleeding chunk of raw flesh. A wonderful image to picture while eating. The more stressed I get the less I eat. It's not that I can't eat, just I forget. I don't realize I haven't eaten anything all day until my body protests by a gut wrenching pain that usually leaves me curled up in a ball dry heaving. It hasn't gotten that bad recently. Most people learn from their mistakes, I unfortunately have not learned from my past mistakes in this area.

Problem is that my body's need to eat reaction is extremely similar to my body's going to forcefully remove all food that's been eaten reaction. Meaning that I have to spend precious time figuring out if I need to eat or if I am sick. When I finally remember that I haven't eaten in more than 32 hours I am left gaging down nutrients, all the while wanting to project them across the room at record speed.

I have found a sort-of-remidy to prevent this unpleasant experience. Coffee! The one small problem is that it only works for a few hours... and in reality it makes things worse. Instead of just feeling like my stomach is becoming a morphias mass of imploding volcanic activity I also have the added pleasure of feeling like there is an earthquake when the caffeine gives me the jitters.

"Coffee isn't its own food group?"

Being a college student means very little money, unless your parents support you. Very little money means cutting corners, however there are some corners that shouldn't be cut. I have been trying to cut back on eating so that my food bill will go down, not like it is very high at the moment, so I randomly skip meals (mostly breakfast, if I eat breakfast I eat more all day). I start of the day with coffee, an entire pot, by lunch I want more coffee (this is normal, but I don't normally make any) and around supper time I again want to drink coffee. This is bad because on the weekends I have started to substitute coffee for meals, all the meals. I might eat three meals during the entirety of a weekend.

This is reflected by more poor performance on Mondays. I can hardly drag my ass out of bed, I get up hours after my alarm goes off, I can't focus until after lunch. Slowly as the week goes on I become more human, but then sure enough the weekend rolls around and I am lucky to get one square meal... This is not a healthy process.

I should probably be more worried about this than I am, but that would require me to put effort into something. Since it is Monday I will not be able to get anything done till after lunch.

Fell off the bandwagon

Day 2 of no coffee: Didn't happen. I had coffee this morning and it was the most delicious thing ever!

I also realized that there are certain things I can't eat in the morning. Anything super sweet makes me gag if I eat it before 10 a.m., this does not include chocolate though. Not entirely sure why chocolate is okay but toast and jam isn't. I wanted to eat something today before I went to work and the only thing easy to make was non-toasted toast and jam, basically bread and jam. I would have toasted it but we aren't allowed to have toasters in the dorm.

So I put homemade blueberry jam on the bread and took a huge bite expecting and explosion of delicious sensations in my mouth. But no, it was like someone took the super nasty wedding cake frosting and jammed a whole pack down my throat. I am not sure I will be able to eat anything sweet for the rest of the day. It was nasty sweet. I still ate it. Because as a completely broke person that is what you do, but still.

It was even worse becuase I was expecting untold deliciousness and I got sickly sweet. Not a good start to any morning.

But I had coffee! So it's all good.

Update: Homemade blueberry muffins may be good, but I can't eat them without gagging. I tried really hard to enjoy it and eat it all with out gagging. It was a futile gesture, I was doomed to not be able to eat anything sweet today. I have maxed out my sweet meter. This is just unreal.

Inflicting my own hell

I woke up this morning and decided that I have become too addicted to coffee and that I need to stop drinking it every morning. So I didn't have any coffee this morning. That doesn't mean that I haven't had any caffeine. I had English Breakfast tea, which has caffeine in it, but it wasn't very good. It kinda tasted like stale trough water. Not pleasant.

I really want coffee. I can't think through the daze of desire. I want coffee. Which makes me think that not drinking it this morning was a good idea. But I really want it... But it seems like I really am getting addicted. But it's soooo good. I should buy decafe coffee, then I could drink it without feeling guilty. But it's such a yummy guilty pleasure.

This marks day one of me not consuming coffee. So far still alive. This is disproving theory of death with lack of coffee. Not a good sign for the guilty pleasure side of the argument.

On a side note listening to Disney music seems to relieve some of the withdrawal symptoms. That leaves much to be questioned about Disney.

Update: Not drinking coffee gives me a serious headache in the afternoon. Disney music does not help headaches, neither does Miley Cyrus. Whose name is Smiley Cyrus without the S... I feel like an idiot for not realizing this sooner.

Update: Pretending that water is coffee does not work. Neither does pretending water is alcoholic... The headache is still pounding against my temples.

This is just great

There is nothing in this world as awesome as dragging my ass out of bed early to get an article done for work only to find out that it doesn't need to be done until tonight... so aggravating. I don't think I would have minded over much except for the fact that I was at work before 8 a.m. today. That is freakishly early. Normally I am not even out of bed by 8. There is rarely a time I have the brain power to be a functional person before 10 in the morning. Seriously.

Worst part is that it was totally my misunderstanding. I thought the article was going to be late, but then found out it wasn't going to be late until tonight... so I had all day to work on it. This makes me grumpy. Very grumpy. It also makes me want more caffeine. More COFFEE!

I want coffee ice cream.

Update: Getting up early does funky things to my body, I can't tell if I am sick or just rejecting morning. Either way I feel like puking, not a pleasant feeling when trying to write a feel good article.

Pictures I drew at work, wait I mean during lunch

This illustrates part of the picture book I drew for Bestfriend. The only difference is that I forgot I had these and redrew them with colored pencils that I stole from Bestfriend. She is awesome.

It was after lunch and I really wanted coffee.

I didn't have time to brew another pot of coffee... Then Bam! I saw my instant coffee.

I was excited to get coffee.

I got lazy and didn't want to finish drawing... it takes to much time. So until later this is going to not be finished. Okay?

Wrong side of the cirle bed

Today is one of those days when both sides of the bed are wrong. No matter which side you get out of it will be a bad day. It all started so innocently last night when I got to bed an hour after I had planned, it was still before midnight though. I thought everything was going to be fine since I had gone to bed early enough to still get a good nights sleep. I would have, but there was this freaking bug outside my window that would buzz. It was sooo annoying. I wanted to through a grenade outside my window to get the freaking thing to shut up.

Not enough hours later my alarm goes off. It's shrill beep jolted me out of the slightly disturbing dream I was having. So I stumble around my room half awake, still partially dreaming getting ready for the day. I woke up early because I needed to finish an article for work that I was supposed to do yesterday... yeah it still isn't done, but more on that later. Then I realize my boss doesn't get in until this afternoon, he is volunteering at an event all week. I could have slept in.

I start my coffee, which is totally needed since I drug my sorry ass out of bed before eight a.m.. The coffee permeates my room with it's tantalizing promise... it smelled sooo good. I picked up my sugar jar, that is another story, and shook it, because in summer nothing escapes the wrath of humidity. Nothing! Not even Tupperware. It is that bad here. I had to shake up the sugar so I could get it out of the jar. I hadn't screwed the lid on tight. Sugar went all over my floor... all over. It is still there since I was in a hurry to get to work.

My coffee decided to leap out of my cup and all down my chest too. It was like "abandon ship!" and dripped all over the place. Even more angry. I am awake, I don't need to be, my bare feet are sugar encrusted and my chest is dripping coffee. At this point I should have just said "fuck it" and gone back to sleep. But no. I have to be all responsible and go to work. Grr.

The Evil Alarm Clock of Doom then decided to show me that I was ten minutes late for my already pushed back work arrival time. Then it started raining. Not one of those pestilent sore rains that just sort of oozes out of the sky. No it was one of those the sky has gone bulimic and is hurling its guts out like a fire hydrant about to explode. In about thirty seconds it had gone from sunny to Niagara falls. coincidentally enough I had left my umbrella in my car, not in my room. I had figured that it was unlikely to rain.

I hate it when I am wrong. A dear friend ended up lending me her umbrella so I could go get mine from the car. When I had managed to tromp down the stairs and get out to my car the rain had stopped. I needed to return the borrowed umbrella to my friend so I stumbled back up the stairs. After throwing my stuff together I headed off to work. I was the first one to arrive so I had to have an adventure in my purse to find the key. By the time I had gotten to work I was well past my attempted arrival time.

I was super excited because I could finally get started on that article I needed to finish. But no. The server was down. As in like, the thing that all of my files are saved to is not working. All of my FILES! I couldn't get to them. At this point I was alternating between bursting into tears or screaming flames.

I didn't know what to do. My boss was gone for the morning. No one else was in the office and it looked like no one was going to be in soon. The one day I show up early I can't work. I hate my life.

Phone tag is never a fun thing. I don't even know how many people I ended up calling to get a hold of the people I needed. It took me over half an hour to find someone who could help me.

Finally I think that I can sit down and finish the freaking article. Leaning back into my chair I pick up my coffee and sip. It as cold. In all the time I had been running around trying to figure out how to work my coffee had gotten cold.

It was a very bitter sweet moment. My cooooooffeeeeeeeee! *sniff*

The epic choice

Chai or Coffee. The ultimate choice that I have to make every time I walk into a coffee shop. Do I get a supreme delicious overdoes of dark succulent caffeine or a do I get a spicy yet slightly nutty blissfully sinful cup full of tea? The decision haunts me even after I have gotten my purchase. Thoughts of maybe I should have gotten the other one circle around my head like a fleet of vultures ready to devour me. The first sip is always the worst, with horrible cognitive dissonance about to ensue I plunge head first into a giddy caffeine coma.

Most of the time I have chosen correctly and can happily consume the rest of my beverage in mental peace with a happy little song drunkenly playing in the background. One the rare occasion (not actually as rare as I want them to be, but that is because I believe in adventures) that it isn't as yummy as I was first led to believe it is a portentous moment. Basically if I get something I don't like I end up being a pissy vindictive monstrosity that believes the entire universe is at fault for me picking a bad drink.

Which is freakishly easy to do. There are several methods for making coffee beans and then entirely way to many ways to prepare coffee once it has been brewed. So faced with a mountain of choices I generally take the easy way out and get chai. With chai there are approximately four choices: hot, iced, blended ice, and what type of milk. I almost always get the same thing, a chai frappachino with soy milk. It is delicious.

So this morning when I decided to get coffee I opted for the frozen slushesk coffee deliciousness I was kinda worried, but it ended all good. And all's good that end's good. Right?
